Engaging legislative avenues is critical to addressing the problems in the PBM industry. We want to increase Congress' awareness of PBM-related issues and encourage them to take action to resolve them.
Write to your Representative and tell them that you are concerned about problems in the PBM market and want them to:
- Support existing legislation, such as H.R. 1971, the Pharmacy Competition and Consumer Choice Act, and H.R. 1946, the Preserving Our Hometown Independent Pharmacies Act, both of which seek to protect consumers and pharmacies from harmful PBM behavior
- Introduce new legislation regulating PBM activity, based off of bills that have been passed by many state governments
